Money is not evil, but the love for money is (1 Timothy 6:10)
3“For the love of money [that is, the greedy desire for it and the willingness to gain it unethically] is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves [through and through] with many sorrows.”
1 Timothy 6 : 10
Money answers many things and gives you options, but it isn’t everything; your character is what provides you with the power to utilize money in the right way (Ecclesiastes 5 : 10)
10“He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves abundance with its gain. This too is vanity (emptiness).
Ecclesiastes 5 : 10
You can be rich or ask for riches and still have a poor heart, so be rich at heart because money is just a visitor; it comes and goes, but a good and rich heart will always get blessed in all seasons. It is not whom you become when God blesses you with money, but it is Whom God was to you before He blessed you that matters the most. Money doesn’t change you, but it amplifies whom you already were before getting it, that was hidden by poverty. If you don’t genuinely learn how to listen while you are broke, then having more money will make you deaf and your ego will convince you that you are always right. And at the end, your pride will become your downfall. You may think that it is all about money, until it gets in your mind, not your hands where money is supposed to be, and then you will then realize that a hand which gives is a hand which receives. There is nothing that feels better than getting a pay check and sharing the profit with those who are in need. Money is mostly enjoyed when you are making an impact as you are also making a profit; this brings meaning to money because money without a meaning is the main reason for a life with emptiness (1 Timothy 6:18; Deuteronomy 15:7).
18“Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous, willing to share [with others].
1 Timothy 6 : 18
3“For the love of money [that is, the greedy desire for it and the willingness to gain it unethically] is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves [through and through] with many sorrows.”
Deuteronomy 15 : 7
There are three things which will earn you money when you learn how to master them: spiritual gifts, inborn talents, and acquired skills. Mastery is when you can explain and demonstrate what is hard to the average mind and make it simple to comprehend. So, it means that you are not poor, but you are just not exceptionally valuable in your area of calling and career (Proverbs 10:4).
4“Poor is he who works with a negligent and idle hand,
But the hand of the diligent makes him rich.“Proverbs 10 : 4
There is no blessing like when you start earning money through what you’re passionate to do; something you wake up to everyday and are even happy to offer your services for free because you are in love with what you do. Make a decision to triumph over pain, discomfort, and challenges until you obtain mastery of your spiritual gifts, inborn talents, and acquired skills. Your excellence will even cause your haters to bless you because you are uniquely and authentically excellent. Yes, they may envy you, hate you, and not wish you well, but because they need you, they will buy your products, services, and information. But it is only until you achieve mastery that mediocrity will flee; and only masters can define their reward. The best way to gain mastery is to be more intimate with The Holy Spirit and get mentorship from humble mentors who fully represent the Glory of The Most High God and His agenda on earth. Don’t give up early; when you find out your purpose, get passionate about it, be consistent and excellent even if the reward isn’t satisfying at that time. Keep working hard and smart, and you will finally make it big for God’s Glory.
