Fear And Anxiety.

Anxiety is fear of what hasn’t happened. There are two types of anxiety. One is destructive anxiety, which is when you choose to live in your imagination and fail to live your current reality. The other is constructive anxiety, which is when you don’t live or spend carelessly because you think the same grace you operated in today is the same grace you operated in yesterday. Learn how to live wisely and save for your future if you have been blessed today. The cure of anxiety is this:

25 “Therefore I tell you, stop being worried or anxious (perpetually uneasy, distracted) about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, as to what you will wear. Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow [seed] nor reap [the harvest] nor gather [the crops] into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they? 27 And who of you by worrying can add one hour to [the length of] his life?

Matthew 6 : 25 – 27

Fear is getting scared of situations which you are familiar with. There are two types of fear. One is destructive fear, which prevents you from being whom God created you to be, or going where you are supposed to. Two is constructive fear which is being conscious. Every fear you are fighting now is familiar, because if it had never happened before, you would not fear.

6 Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. 7 And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].

Philippians 4 : 6 – 7

7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].

2 Timothy 1 : 7

5 For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading again to fear [of God’s judgment], but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons [the Spirit producing sonship] by which we [joyfully] cry, “Abba! Father!”

Romans 8 : 15

You can be okay being the old version, but still feel scared because you are acting like a slave. If you were acting like a servant, then you wouldn’t fear. You think God is putting you in slavery to punish you? When you are going through the process, refining, being broken, losing friends, being manipulated, etc., all that matters is Who is within you. That is the period to humble you. And remember, God can’t send you to the wilderness without equipping you. Sometimes, to reach the heaven that you respect, you must go through the hell that you don’t like. In order to gain something, you must lose something. We are mostly anxious about what will happen in our future because the future we want, we are not willing to prepare for it in the present day. Fear is when the events that happened in your past are still relevant in your present, and anxiety is when the imagination of your future has taken your joy and your desire to be grateful for your today. Fear is a sign of depression, and anxiety is a sign of ungratefulness. The Israelites were leaving Egypt, but still complaining and comparing their past to their present, and they were not grateful for the mana from Heaven that God was providing.

When you hear “the fear of The Lord”, it is not being scared of God. It means giving up anything that will put you in a compromising position with God: any job, business, relationship, or friendship that takes you away from God. You will know that you have defeated fear and anxiety when you start valuing the peace which transcends human understanding, because fear and anxiety are a sign that you have elevated vanity beyond eternity: when you want to fit in, rather than becoming the light of the world and the salt of the earth. If your life is tasteless, it means you are not the salt of the earth. If there is darkness in your life, it creates fear which means your light is dimmed, hence, not making you the light of the world. Who you are born of will determine your fear and anxiety; God made us more than conquerors.

12 I assure you and most solemnly say to you, anyone who believes in Me [as Savior] will also do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these [in extent and outreach], because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in My name [as My representative], this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified and celebrated in the Son. 14 If you ask Me anything in My name [as My representative], I will do it.

John 14 : 12 – 14

4 For everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world—our [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God].

1 John 5 : 4

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us].

Romans 8 : 37

10 ‘Do not fear [anything], for I am with you;
Do not be afraid, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you;
I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’

Isaiah 41 : 10
