The War Within.

The war which has been happening in your life is an identity crisis as you progress in the knowledge of God. You want to pull the knowledge of God which you had 5 years ago and establish it in the current you. That’s why you find yourself holding onto prophecies from 5 years ago which have not yet been fulfilled and you are asking yourself why? But what does God speak that He does not fulfill? Nothing!

11 So will My word be which goes out of My mouth;
It will not return to Me void (useless, without result),
Without accomplishing what I desire,
And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.

Isaiah 55 : 11

God spoke, but you haven’t seen. The problem isn’t that the cosmic energy in the atmosphere and everything hasn’t conspired to bring forth what God has deposited in you. The issue is that you are thinking that God’s Word operates in the magical realm, yet God’s Word operates in the principal realm. God deposited everything in us, but there are people who go from mountain to mountain looking for God, yet He dwells in us. Do you know why many of us don’t look within ourselves? It is because we know that before God tells us whom we are looking for as an excuse for our failures, He first makes us look within ourselves and take accountability. And that is something many of us don’t want: we want an excuse; we want to look through the window and look for someone to blame for our misery. When you are looking for God on the outside and not from within, then most of the petitions you are taking to Him in prayer is only asking; it is not, “God, I am ready to listen so that I can do what you want me to do”. It is always, “God, come fix my mess”, and He will do it because He already did it. But, do you know who you are in Him?

1 Therefore there is now no condemnation [no guilty verdict, no punishment] for those who are in Christ Jesus [who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior].

Romans 8 : 1

You are not guilty, even if you may make yourself feel guilty. That is why whenever you do self-evaluation, you fear to beat yourself down because you think that is how God views you. God doesn’t view you through you falling into sin, because you are no longer a sinner when you are in Christ.

7 Therefore you are no longer a slave (bond-servant), but a son; and if a son, then also an heir through [the gracious act of] God [through Christ].

Galatians 4 : 7

The issue is that you are ignorant because you have refused the life that He has given you of righteousness. When you do an evaluation on a personal level and are truthful and honest with yourself, you will ask yourself why you want God to give you something beyond the level you are at. Try your best to propel harder and become a high achiever because Your Father has already finished everything you want through the sacrifice that Jesus Christ has done on The Cross.

30 When Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head and [voluntarily] gave up His spirit.

John 19 : 30

Jesus did not say that it was finished, He said that it is finished, meaning it is still finishing even now. So however much you may feel like you are finished, Jesus Christ has already finished it all. The issue is your mentality which has to reset. But how can it be reset when you fear yourself? You will never be honest about anyone else until you are honest with yourself. You will never love anyone else more than you love yourself. So, when you find someone treating you badly and you are tolerating it, don’t mistake that for being patient; you are being tolerant. Tolerance means “I have embraced disrespect to a level where I am comfortable being disrespected”. Patience is “I am seeing a breath of change and effort being made”.
