We Need To Love God For Who He Is As Our God.

When you fear to look for God within you, you will always look for someone else to blame for your own misery. But, how can you look for God within yourself when you haven’t allowed Him to manifest Himself to you, so that you manifest The Person Who has manifested Himself to you? And that’s the issue: many people go to look to God to fix their issues, but they never look for God to know Who He is: God needs relationship. Before God created us to be rich and famous, He wants to have a relationship with us. Let me clarify something: prayer is a lifestyle, not a conversation. When you are still on the conversational realm, you are still a baby, but when you have grown to become a prayerful person, it means it is your lifestyle. Meaning you are a person of character: what you say matches what you do, and what you promise, you try your best to fulfill. So, are you a person of character? How many promises have you made that you have not fulfilled? Prayer is a lifestyle, but when you are moving into that presence of conversing with God, then it is not God inviting you in His Presence: prayer is you inviting you God in your presence. So, if it is you inviting God into your presence, then what can you do for God to invite you in His Presence? The answer is worship. Worship God for Who He is, then you are invited in His Presence. The Bible says,

10 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand [anywhere else];
I would rather stand [as a doorkeeper] at the threshold of the house of my God Than to live [at ease] in the tents of wickedness.

Psalms 84 : 10

Worship is different from praise. Praise is praising God for what He has done and what He has promised to do because He stands on His Word to fulfill it. But worship is when you have gone beyond receiving; it is a communion; it is a moment of relationship with Your Creator. And this is something which is not done in a religious, ritualistic, dogmatic, theological, and philosophical way. It is when you break yourself down and say, “God, I don’t know anything, but I know You. And when I know You, I know everything. Everything I know besides You is nothing, but I have everything because I have You”. Automatically, you have elevated God to know that everything you do, think, and plan to do is regulated through Him. And that is what The Bible says:

13 I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]

Philippians 4 : 13

When The Word says “through Christ”, it means that when you reach at the gate and you before you go through Him, you leave whatever you think you know, and empty yourself. Then when you enter and pass through him, you take what is of Him. That is why people say, “But I have been praying and I am believing for this, but it doesn’t happen”. The question is, does it align with what Christ has for you?

7 If you remain in Me and My words remain in you [that is, if we are vitally united and My message lives in your heart], ask whatever you wish and it will be done for you.

John 15 : 7

How can you ask whatever you want when everything you need and want is not God? If you remain in A Person, you no longer move according to your desires, but you embrace the nature of The Person you are remaining in most of the time. When you ask for everything you want and it is done, it means you have already experienced in God everything you are about to ask Him for. Everytime the children of Israel wanted to go and take the promised land, they would send people to go and spy the land. For us, we have Christ Who has already finished everything. It means that we are not ushered into any promised land; we are the moving promised land because we carry the Righteousness of God. You are not going to make God fulfill anything He promised you besides Salvation which satisfies us. Salvation is everything God promised because Salvation is redemption, restoration, resurrection, life, and abundance. You are looking for details, but the details are your commitment and your consistency to get the knowledge about God. But we love to be entertained and get prophesies which only speak to our emotions and excite us. We want to hear, “You are going to get married”, but there is more to marriage than just the wedding ceremony; marriage is not an achievement. You want to hear, “You are going to have a house and a business”, but there is more to building to a house and a business; they are not just achievements.

33 But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.

Matthew 6 : 33

The verse doesn’t say “multiplied” or “come through”; it says “added”. This means that everything besides God is an addition. He is more than enough; everything you are looking for aside from Him is a bonus.
